Before You Buy a Ford Sync 4 Upgrade — Read This First

A few things are worth knowing before you order, so there are no surprises after your upgrade:

  • Navigation is cloud-based. It needs a data connection and a subscription — the same as on a factory-new vehicle.
  • SiriusXM on older ACM trucks (2015–2018 F-150, 2017–2020 F-250) isn’t supported yet without replacing the ACM. We’re working on a fix that keeps your original ACM at no added cost.
  • Screen size: we build a flush-mount 12″ display for a true OEM look, rather than a larger panel that sits proud of the dash.
  • VIN required at checkout so we can program your module to your truck before it ships.
