The kit looks and feels like factory. The bigger screen is amazing. Shipping was a few weeks but well worth the wait. Install was not too difficult and the supplied trim tools are a huge bonus. I did need some programing to get all functions to work and the Fordsync4 team were on top of it. The kit includes an OBDII cable which allows the Fordsync4 team to remote into your truck via Forscan to complete the programming. The fordsync4 team is very prompt with answering any questions you have before, during, and after the install. If you are on the fence about buying this kit, DO IT! It looks and functions like OEM. You will not be disappointed!
I really like the kit. It's well done and very much appreciate the engineering into creating it. Ford sync4 is the winner between them and infotainment.
The fit could use some polish as I'm having small gaps at the top of the bezel.. Also had to cut my dash to accommodate the install. Lack of instructions was a bit frustrating. Took me about 4 hours to install and figure it out. The extra screws although appreciated; did not help because of lack of instructions.
New climate control module has a sticking heated seat button. Not the end of the world but if you're like me you'd expect perfection when you pay $3500 for a radio.
Overall everything works well. Some things need tweaks. I'm happy this kit exists and looks BEAUTIFUL at night.
The “fix kit” corrected all issues with my system. Love this set up!
The kit was well made, and the install was relatively smooth. Not having instructions made it a challenge because the CD player relocate brackets were not clear. After an hour of working different positions, we fabbed something up. Also, I wasn’t sure about how to incorporate the camera system pigtail until I removed another module to make room for the CD module relocate. At that point I realized that was thewhere the camera pigtail went. Again…anything at all explaining the pieces included in the kit would have streamlined the process. Otherwise, the part construction and functionality was great.
there is no install instructions. I watched the you tube video and it said that i need the original cd player to get music. I don't have it so what do i do.
The hardware fit and trim were excellent. I had a loose cable on first install, but when I went back and double checked everything, I was a first time go, no issues! My only gripe is that there are no instructions and that the few good videos out there on YouTube use a different bracket, I had to send an email to get a direct link to the correct bracket install procedure. Also, the screws are lacking in quality and many of them were unnecessary, as some sub-components come assembled

Looks great. Works great too. Only lost the ability to turn off the auto stop via the button in the dash.
I haven’t installed the system yet but what I can tell everything looks like good quality components. It didn’t take long to receive my order and the shipping was pretty quick. I hope within the next couple of weeks I will be able to start the install.

It serves its purpose, I wanted the sync 4 to be able to apple carplay. This fitment is average, could be better. No instructions so you have to follow YouTube videos, they send a list of installers with the packaging. Rather than instructions. The screen works well, but the fitment of the bezel is subpar, and without instructions I’m really unsure if I am missing something.
It does not seem to be hitting anything, but the screen and it is pushed out 1/8 of an inch around the entire exterior perimeter of the bezel.
I waited over a year for this fix to be released, but it solved all the issues I was having with my 2020 Raptor and everything is now working great!
Haven’t installed it yet, but all components arrived and were securely packed in bubble wrap. There are several YouTube videos explaining the installation process, it looks pretty straightforward. Definitely feels like a great value for the price

Was very skeptical over the past year about this kit. I bought a used kit and these guys remoted in and fixed my volume controller issue. Everything else that is on the chart seems to be working great. Super easy to work with.Even if the communication was slow.But the job is done and works! Thank you.
The FordSync4.com team was very communicative throughout the process and always came thru to resolve my issues. Although it took time to receive all the necessary parts, everything worked well once instlled. They even took the time for a remote programming session for me. Highly recommend!
I was debating on buying a new truck but I could stomach the price. 100k is outrageous. I decided to update my 2019 f250 8” screen to a 12”. I read some reviews online and was unsure if I was willing to trust this company. Let me tell you that you will not be disappointed. Everything so far fit like a glove. After watching a few YouTube videos it was an easy install. I believe they updated their bracket because mine was different from the install videos that I watched a this one fits perfectly. I had an issue with ordering the one with pro controller knob and they immediately rectified the problem and sent one right away. Overall I did not get any error codes and the only thing was the navigation doesnt work but they let you know that beforehand. No one uses that anyways CarPlay is far superior to fords nav system. Seats worked well. Backup camera is full screen. It looks amazing.
The most difficult part of this installation was waiting for it to depart the Hong Kong airport on UPS. It sat there, in the possession of UPS for 8 days. Once it was in motion, it only took 2 days to arrive. But the unit itself is beautiful. The provided trim pieces match my interior exactly. The large, 12 inch screen is a wonderful upgrade to my stock 8 inch screen. And it has more features than my 8 inch screen. It is also more responsive. It seemed there were times I would tap on the 8 inch screen several times to get it to respond to my command. Not so with the new 12 inch screen. it is responsive to each tap and swipe. You might as well have placed your favorite tablet on your dash it's so responsive. All in all, this is a wonderful upgrade for my 2023 F-150 XL. I'm very happy with the quality and appearance of my new 12 inch screen. Thank you FordSync4 for a great unit.

Was pretty easy to install after I was able to find some external how to videos. Would have been nice to receive install instructions in the box rather than a product guide. Other than that screen is awesome! Works great and super happy with the upgrade.
I can't say enough good things about this Sync3 to Sync4 upgrade kit. From the moment I unboxed it, I knew I was in for a serious tech transformation. The 12-inch OEM screen is absolutely stunning—crisp, vibrant, and a massive leap from the stock 8-inch display. It gives my 2015 F150 Platinum a modern, luxury feel that rivals brand-new models.
Installation was a breeze thanks to the plug-and-play design, however there are NO instructions so you definitiely should be somewhat technically inclined and watch several videos. Every video I found on YT was for the F250, there are only a few differences between the two models for the uninstall of the 8" screen. When it comes to the installation is where you'll need to rely on your technical/mechanical knowledge. While the kit does come pre-programmed to your VIN (if you provide it during checkout), there is some work to be done via Forscan. Don't fret, they include a Forscan cable and instructions on how to get the free trial license and they work with you to schedule a time one of their techs can remote in (via PC) to make all of the necessary updates. Everything fit perfectly, and the OEM-quality bezels and trim pieces made it look factory-installed.
The Sync4 system is lightning fast and incredibly intuitive. Wireless Apple CarPlay & Wireless Android Auto works flawlessly, and I love having access to all my apps without fumbling with cables. Climate controls, steering wheel buttons, and even my trailer assist features all work seamlessly.
What really impressed me was the attention to detail—every component from the APIM module to the AC vents and USB harnesses was thoughtfully included. It’s clear this kit was designed by people who know Ford trucks inside and out.
