What Our Sync 4 Upgrade Solves That Others Don’t

We spent 2025 testing real trucks until the common Sync 4 upgrade issues were solved. Here’s what works on our kit:

  • Heated mirrors & rear defrost
  • Rapid-heat supplemental cab heater (F-250 / Super Duty diesel)
  • Heated seats on manual-climate trucks
  • Camera zoom in / out; F-250 multi-camera selection
  • F-150 Raptor terrain drive modes
  • Radio presets (except SiriusXM — see below)
  • Factory reset with FordPass reactivation
  • Auto Start/Stop button, airbag warning light, HVAC module programming
  • Added: F-250 turn-signal camera and camera-in-motion

Dual-zone climate works. The passenger side can be set independently on our kit — on many competitor kits the passenger temperature bar doesn’t respond at all.

The one thing we haven’t fully solved, and we’ll say so: on older ACM trucks (2015–2018 F-150, 2017–2020 F-250), factory SiriusXM isn’t supported yet. Some competitors tell you to stream it through a phone app, or charge $500–600 for a new ACM. We’re still working on a fix that keeps your original ACM at no added cost.
