Before You Begin
Vehicle fitment: 2015–2020 Ford F-150, and 2017–2022 Ford F-250 / F-350 / F-450 Super Duty. If you're not sure your truck is compatible, contact us with your VIN before you start.
Estimated time: 2–4 hours · Difficulty: Beginner–Intermediate (basic interior trim removal) · Programming: The APIM ships pre-programmed to your truck — no FORScan required for installation.
Tools required:
- Interior trim removal tool
- Basic socket / screwdriver set
Kit contents (confirm against your packing list):
- 12″ Sync 4 screen assembly
- Pre-programmed Sync 4 APIM module
- Sync 4 HVAC module / dash bezel
- Plug-and-play wiring harness with OEM connectors
⚠ Important: Disconnect the negative battery terminal before you begin, and reconnect only when instructed. Work gently when releasing trim clips to avoid cracking the dash bezel.
